In the last 30 days, Paul Reed ranks 118th in category fantasy leagues. This doesn't seem all that great, but on a closer look at his per 36 minutes on the season, he's averaged 13 points, 11 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.6 blocks, and only 1.5 turnovers. If you look at the last few years of data, Reed's per 36 minute shows a very high amount of rebounds, steals, and blocks. (11.7rebs, 2.2 steals, 2 blocks) This larger sample size of data over 4 years now would suggest that he should be reliable in those categories. Reed may not be a “major scorer” where he normally only averaged around 13 points, but that is at least moderate for a big man.
I am also aware that he probably isn’t going to get 36 minutes a game, however, Reed should settle in around upper 20 to lower 30’s range. It is worth mentioning both of his last two recent games on the 7th and 9th he had 31 minutes. Then on Feb 12th he had 29 minutes. So it is trending upwards! Over the last 7 days Reed ranks as the 36th in category leagues!!! The numbers are 60% FG, 75% FT, 10.8pts, 9rebs, 1.8ast, 1.3 steals, 1.5 blocks, only 0.3 turnovers per game. Some people might still be valuing him too low. This is a very solid player.
