This Week’s Top Fantasy Basketball Players

This week has been busy for most NBA teams. Some players have collected over 20 points so far for their teams. The following is a detailed review of the top eight players in fantasy basketball now.

Anthony Davis collected 40 points (14-22 FG,12-13 FT) for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Washington Wizards. Davis had three blocks, one steal, four assists, and 15 rebounds in the game. Yet, he played 41 minutes back-to-back in the second half.

Davis helped the Lakers win 134-131. He has consistently collected two-digit points in his last seven consecutive games and is a top favorite for managers.

D’Angelo Russel

Russell gained 22 points (9-11 FG, 4-11 3PT) on Thursday in the Lakes vs Wizards game. He had one block, one steal, five assists, and six rebounds. Russell has been in great shape of late as he has scored more than 18 points in the last five games.

Some NBA fans predicted that the Lakers would move him in the recent trade period. Instead, the team opted to keep Russell and he hasn’t disappointed them so far. Russell is likely to continue performing well on Saturday as the Lakers clash with the Denver Nuggets tomorrow. Jamal Murray will miss in the Nuggets’ lineup due to an ankle injury he got on Thursday.

LeBron James

James was untameable on Thursday in the Lakers’ game against the Wizards. He collected 31 points (12-24 FG, 2-5 3PT, 5-7 FT), had one block, one steal, nine assists, and four rebounds.

Some fantasy managers speculated that James would be in the Lakers’ starting lineup. The prediction was accurate since James played for 39 minutes including overtime. James needs to score nine more points on Saturday to set a 40,000-point record in the NBA.

This was his second time in the last three consecutive games to score more than 30 points. Besides, it was Poole’s highest score in the season and his fifth time this year to garner over 29 points.
