Some head-to-head leagues have kicked off their playoffs. Yet, roto league managers are sitting key players for the rest of this season. It is advisable to pick a player who plays more games than one who competes in a few games but has better stats. Week 21 is balanced as the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers will play two games, as 12 teams prepare for four games.

There will be up to nine games played daily. Therefore, fantasy managers in lenient leagues can livestream. Listed below are the top nine adds for any fantasy league.

1. Kelly Olynyk, Toronto Raptors (67% rostered)

Jakob Poeltl and Scottie Barnes might not return to the court soon. Olynyk started in the Raptors’ first game having 15-6-7, one 3, two blocks, and two steals in 28 minutes. Olynyk slacked in Thursday’s game as he fouled. Many fantasy managers have overrated Olynyk for a long period but he is a must-add this week.

2. Naz Reid, Timberwolves (59% rostered)

Karl-Anthony Towns sustained a meniscus injury on Thursday and won’t play again this season. Naz Reid replaced Towns last month when he missed a game. Reid has 22-6-1 with one 3, one block, and two steals in 33 minutes. The center has 13-8-2, a 3-pointer, a block, and a steal in 26 minutes. Reid's scoring makes him an ideal pickup in all leagues.

3.Grayson Allen, Phoenix Suns (62% rostered)

Grayson Allen has been in the top 100 waiver wire adds for a long period. However, Allen's performance dropped in the last week’s three games. Surprisingly, Allen is in the top 55 in 9-cat and top 75 overall. Allen improved drastically as he garnered at least eight threes and 26 points in the last two games.

4. Vasilije Micic, Charlotte Hornets (15% rostered)

Tre Mann and Micic are the new players that the Hornets signed in the trade deadline. Vasilije Micic's performance is better than when he was with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Hornets excluded Micic from their initial starting lineups before they began starting him and Mann.

The latter’s performance has reduced while Micic is constantly improving. Micic got two steals and 17-4-5 in 32.5 minutes. LaMelo Ball’s absence due to a knee injury makes Mann and Micic perfect selections on the roster but some managers might drop them once Ball returns.

5. Duop Reath, Trail Blazers (16% rostered)

Deandre Ayton has been out for a while due to a hand injury. Reath has filled Ayton’s start and started the last four games. The former has greatly helped the Blazers as he has amassed 18 points, had two threes, and 1.5 blocks. Yet, his low rebounding load and inaccurate free throw shots don’t match a center of his caliber.

Ayton has sustained many injuries this season. The Blazers add Reath to their starting lineups when Ayton is absent. Therefore, Reath will continue being a top choice for fantasy managers until Ayton returns.

6. Kyle Anderson (26% rostered) and Jaden McDaniels (22% rostered), Timberwolves

Although Reid is receiving most managers’ attention since Town got injured, Kyle Anderson and Jaden McDaniels are great forwards. McDaniels has played for long and will increase his starting minutes. Anderson has played for more minutes per game of late.

The Timberwolves started Anderson on Thursday as Reid’s replacement. Anderson offers fantastic out-of-position assists while McDaniels is an efficient defender and shooter.

7. Miles McBride, New York Knicks (19% rostered)

The Knicks haven’t added Jalen Brunson to their starting lineup since Sunday when he hurt his knee. Rumors claim that Brunson might resume playing on Friday. His absence has offered McBride an opportunity to start. Brunson has played 46.5 minutes in the Knicks’ last two games and is a must-start if Brunson won’t return now.

McBride can continue playing after Brunson’s recovery as he might get a re-injury if the Knicks start him too soon. Joel Embiid and Tyrese Haliburton had similar experiences early this season after they returned too quickly. They got to the sidelines after playing several games.

8. Herbert Jones, New Orleans Pelicans (59% rostered)

Herbert Jones is known for his stunning steals. Jones deserves a slot in all leagues’ rosters due to his threes. Jones has scored more than 12 points in 10 of the last 12 games.

9. Matisse Thybulle, Trail Blazers (8% rostered)

Many roto league managers are seeking categories that will boost their ranks. Matisse Thybulle is among the leading steals pros. Thybulle might be outside the top-200 players’ list but is a perfect choice if you need a drastic increase in steals to top your league.
