If you play in weekly leagues that lock into place, pitchers who have two starts in a week are crucial to your success. Weekly locks are very common for NFBC leagues in specific but if your league plays with this format, you're in luck! With that said, here is your guide for week three of the season, 4/8 until 4/14.

You’re Going to Wanna Start These Guys

(Don’t Be Dumb)

These are your horses, guys you drafted to pitch consistently for you. Zach Eflin has two above-average matchups this week that I think will give him two quality starts. Nathan Eovaldi gets a bump playing against the Athletics, who are always worth streaming against. José Berrios gets a bump up in groups getting to play against Colorado at home.

Why Not? They’ll Probably Throw Some Good Innings

(But May Blow Up)

A few of these starters will have fantastic weeks; however, all come with some risk. Nestor Cortes gets a big bump this week with matchups against putrid Miami and Cleveland offenses. Frankie Montas, who has been pitching well so far this season, gets to pitch against the White Sox in a plus-plus matchup for the second half of the week. Reynaldo Lopez has started the season strong and has two above-average matchups this week with the Mets and Marlins

Live Life on the Edge!

(You May Regret a Few of These Guys)

There are a few interesting pitchers here. Brayan Bello would be in the category above this one if he didn't have a start against Baltimore’s strong offense at Fenway. Bello is my favorite of this group if he can survive that start. Graham Ashcraft has decent matchups and continues to have above-average stuff and scores. Spencer Turnbull put up good numbers in his first start and has two decent matchups, but he was so poor last year you never know what you're going to get.

For the Love of God! Please No!

(Brutal Matchups and Bad Pitchers)

None of these guys are worth starting. They all are bad pitchers and have bad matchups that you do not want to touch. You have been warned.
