It feels so great to say that the NFL season is almost here! With many people drafting this upcoming weekend, I wanted to update and share my top 100 rankings for 2024 fantasy football. Since I’m sure there will be disagreement, I’ll share who I believe is the best value in the top 100 picks and why at the very bottom.

These rankings are created for a 1QB, PPR, 2RB, 2WR, 1 FLEX format. To create my rankings, I use advanced premium stats from Fantasy Data, PFF, TeamRankings, sports books, film from All-22, and many other sources. With that being said I understand that rankings are subjective so I’m more than happy to debate any of these rankings. Let’s dive right into it!

Best Value Pick

Brian Thomas Jr

FTR Rank 85

FTR Vs FantasyPros ADP: +35

I’ve had Brian Thomas Jr as one of my “my guys” for quite some time. First in dynasty coming out of college and then heading into 2024 I’ve loved his price as well. After showing out in the pre-season, he’s become a riser for most but even then he’s too cheap.

Even though most people would rather have Terry McLaurin or Diontae Johnson, I want to grab Thomas because I believe his ceiling is significantly higher than both of those players. For one I feel like it’s being overlooked that Thomas went in the first round of the NFL draft. While Ladd McConkey got the nuts landing spot Thomas was still seen as the better prospect.

As a prospect, Thomas was phenomenal, breaking out as a junior while being the number two target. Seeing Thomas put up a 68-1,117-17 stat line, recording a 21.9% team target share and a 32.7% college dominator rating next to Malik Nabers, tells me all I need to know.

The Jaguars letting Calvin Ridley walk tells me that they will give Thomas every opportunity to be the WR1, even in 2024. Just last year, Ridley drew 136 targets, so I feel great about the role Thomas will be in. Even though I’m not the biggest fan, Trevor Lawrence has a ton of upside and there’s a good chance he’ll take that next step in 2024. The bottom line is if you’re able to get Thomas at pick 85 or later, I would be doing so every time.
