One day for the rest of our lives. After spending all off-season obsessing over our draft strategies and then drafting our *perfect team* It’s decision time. In order to give you an outlook for your fantasy team and help with some sit/start decisions, I’ve constructed my top 24 wide receiver rankings & tier list based on statistical analysis, matchup data, sportsbook data, and film. On top of all that, I’ve included a start of the week that I believe the fantasy community is sleeping on.

If you want to check out top 12 quarterback and tight end rankings you can click the first link below! If you have any sit/start questions or want team advice click the second link and shoot me a message on Discord. Anyone in that channel will be given access to my top 48 WR/RB rankings and top 24 QB/TE rankings each week. All for free! That being said, let’s dive into the rankings!

Must Start: Wide Receiver

Zay Flowers @ KC

To give everyone a quick refresher, the FTR start of the week can’t be ranked in the top 24 according to FantasyPros ECR. I have Zay Flowers as my WR23 heading into the year, and I don’t want to get too cute for week one.

The implied team total isn’t great for the Ravens but it’s still at a respectable 21.5 points. The over/under is 47 on BetMGM which isn’t great but it’s well above average. I don’t understand why this is necessarily a bad thing because if the Ravens are playing from behind, they’ll be forced to throw rather than pounding the rock. With Flowers fighting for targets with Andrews, this is one of the better situations for him.

If you’re concerned about Flowers and his role in the offense, that’s a fair counterpoint. However, betting on the 2nd year receivers with great production in year one is always a good idea. He drew 108 targets, had 858 yards, five touchdowns and 12.9 PPG. If you drafted Flowers to be your WR2 or even FLEX, I would advise starting him in week one, as this seems like an underrated matchup for him.
