ESPN Projection - QB13
For the FTR start of the week, the players that will be eligible for this list are all close to being ranked as a back-end QB1/TE1 based on ESPN’s PPR projections. I didn’t want to put Kyler Murray on this list in back-to-back weeks, especially after he scored 24.1 points last week, but he’s being disrespected once again. Murray is a difference-maker due to his rushing upside, and we saw that on full display last week when he ran for 83 yards and a touchdown. Simply put, the players in tier three don’t have anyone near the same floor/ceiling combination as Murray.
The Packers are a solid matchup for Murray as they’ve allowed the 17th most fantasy points to quarterbacks (84.8) this year. According to FanDuel, this game should be fairly high scoring as the over/under is set at 47.5 points. Even in a bad game script, you should be starting Murray, but with a solid situation in week five as well, he’s a must-start.

Must Start: Tight End
Evan Engram @ CHI
ESPN Projection - TE12
I’m writing this under the assumption that Evan Engram is finally going to play this week. Even though he hasn’t played since week one, this just says a lot about the tight-end position. The Jaguars haven’t looked fantastic this year, but Brian Thomas Jr has been dominating with Trevor Lawrence as of late, giving the offense signs of life. Christian Kirk has had a few big games, but overall, there’s a good shot that Engram is the number two target right away.
It’s not a great matchup for Engram, as the Bears have allowed the 8th least fantasy points to tight ends (38.2) this year. The over/under is solid, though, at 44.5 points, and both quarterbacks have the ability to provide a ton of passing volume on any given week. Let’s not forget how good Engram was, scoring 13.5 PPG last year and drawing 143 targets. You’re better off starting Engram than trying to pick up an inconsistent waiver-wire player.
