Another day of the 2025 NFL Combine is in the books, so let's break down exactly what that means for dynasty fantasy football. The 2025 NFL Draft is rapidly approaching, and the NFL Combine has given NFL scouts and fantasy managers alike the opportunity to obtain data on the athletic profiles of the players they may soon be drafting.
The importance of the NFL Combine cannot be overstated. A good workout could result in a player hearing their name called in the first round or going undrafted, which means that the fantasy football implications of this event are massive.
Let’s talk about a few players who stood out from the crowd during Saturday’s combine workouts. Many of these prospects could end up being relevant in both dynasty and redraft fantasy football in 2025.
(Note: Standout prospects from Friday’s NFL Combine workouts are available in this article.)
Bhayshul Tuten
RB, Virginia Tech
(5’9”, 206 lbs)
40-Yard Dash: 4.32 Seconds
10-Yard Split: 1.49 Seconds
Vertical Jump: 40.5”
Broad Jump: 10’10”
20-Yard Shuttle: 4.41 Seconds
Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten had quite possibly the best workout of any player to participate in the NFL Combine on Saturday. He managed to finish first among his position group in nearly every event he participated in, impressing scouts and fantasy managers alike.
There’s a real chance that Tuten has locked his name into at least Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft. His impressive athleticism has indeed separated him from the pack in what is one of the best draft classes of running backs that we have seen in a very long time.
Depending on where he’s selected, Tuten is worth a second-round pick in dynasty rookie drafts. He has drastically increased his chances of being drafted within the first two rounds, and if a team is willing to put that much draft capital into acquiring him, he will likely be given a chance to start early on.
It’s also notable that Tuten achieved a 40-Yard Dash time of 4.32 seconds at a weight of 206 pounds. This explosiveness will help him earn a role at the next level, allowing him to become a valuable asset in dynasty fantasy football.
Matthew Golden
WR, Texas
(5’11”, 191 lbs)
40-Yard Dash: 4.29 Seconds
10-Yard Split: 1.49 Seconds
Texas wideout Matthew Golden entered the NFL Combine as a borderline first-round pick. After running the best 40-Yard Dash time of any wide receiver at this year’s combine, Golden is now a lock to be selected in the first 32 picks, barring any unforeseen setback.
Golden is an underrated asset in dynasty fantasy football. At just 21 years old, he could become an instant contributor to an NFL offense in need of a wide receiver with some serious speed. His athletic profile has boosted his draft stock even higher than it already was. A selection in the first round would only reinforce the fact that he should be taken in the late first or early second round of dynasty rookie drafts.
I am very excited to see where Golden ends up. If he is drafted toward the end of the first round, he could have the chance to enter into a more developed and productive offense that could lead to early success in his career. Overall, things are looking very strong for the young wide receiver from Texas.
Jaylin Noel
WR, Iowa State
(5’10”, 194 lbs)
40-Yard Dash: 4.39 Seconds
10-Yard Split: 1.51 Seconds
Vertical Jump: 41.5”
Broad Jump: 11’2”
Three-Cone Drill: 6.82 Seconds
20-Yard Shuttle: 4.17 Seconds
After an extremely promising week at the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, Iowa State wide receiver Jaylin Noel followed it up with a great workout at the NFL Combine. He managed to put on a show in nearly every event, posting the top result at his position group in both the vertical jump and broad jump tests.
Noel’s explosive nature as a receiver has been on display throughout the entire pre-draft process, and the former Cyclone’s athletic profile only adds to the boost for his draft stock.
Some of Noel’s best qualities include his route-running, his ability to adjust to the football and make difficult catches, and his short-area quickness. All of these things make him worthy of a Day two selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. In turn, he should be a priority selection in the later rounds of dynasty rookie drafts.
I think Noel has the potential to be a productive second receiver for an NFL offense, which gives him solid upside. He could fill an immediate role as a team’s top slot receiver with ease. He possesses the necessary skills to make the transition to the NFL level.
Quinshon Judkins
RB, Ohio State
(6’0”, 221 lbs)
40-Yard Dash: 4.48 Seconds
10-Yard Split: 1.51 Seconds
Vertical Jump: 38.5”
Broad Jump: 11’0”
After spending 2025 in somewhat of a reduced role in Ohio State’s elite backfield, Quinshon Judkins did enough to silence the doubters during his workout at the NFL Combine. Judkins burst onto the scene at Ole Miss before transferring to Ohio State ahead of the 2024 college football season.
Judkins and fellow Buckeye running back TreVeyeon Henderson complemented each other perfectly, helping Ohio State bring home the National Championship. This helped boost his stock for 2025 dynasty fantasy football.
Judkins played the role of a power back in the team’s thunder-and-lightning backfield. This led to a decrease in volume. Judkins saw his draft stock lower slightly after showing less explosiveness as a runner in 2024, but should still be a Day two pick. His combine workout and collegiate production make him a great young asset to add to an NFL backfield.
I think that Judkins could thrive in a role similar to Detroit’s David Montgomery. Montgomery acts as the team’s power back and is a phenomenal complement to Jahmyr Gibbs. Judkins has a lot of upside depending on which team decides to select him, but I could absolutely see him becoming a starter or co-starter for an NFL team sooner rather than later.
Judkins is worth a late first or early second-round pick in dynasty rookie drafts. He had a great NFL Combine workout and was one of the winners of the event, which will definitely help him when the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around.
