It’s never too early to take a look at the 2026 NFL Draft class for dynasty fantasy football, and with a potentially great quarterback class entering the league, next year’s group could be extremely important for fantasy football as a whole.
Getting acquainted with next year’s prospects is a good way to figure out if you should be buying or selling draft capital based on the strength of the class. Depending on how your team is built, you may want to sell your picks through a trade depending on if the class is weak at a position of need for your roster.
Overall, many factors affect how you should use your assets in dynasty fantasy football, and staying a step ahead strategically is very important. In this article, we will be ranking next year’s prospects and identifying a few sleepers you should be keeping an eye on when they hit the field next season. Let’s get to the list!

2026 Dynasty Rookie Sleepers
Cade Klubnik
Clemson (QB)
Unlike some of the other quarterbacks on this list, Cade Klubnik already has multiple years of starting experience under his belt at Clemson. The dual-threat quarterback will enter the NFL as a seasoned signal-caller, capable of producing through the air and on the ground.
Klubnik is a very versatile player and doesn’t shy away from big moments. He is a dynamic playmaker who I believe will catch the attention of many teams in need of quarterback help next offseason. He is the type of player who could see his draft stock rise drastically with another year of impressive production at Clemson in 2025.
In what looks to be a strong quarterback class, Klubnik is as good a candidate as any to be a first-round pick next year. He’s developed throughout his entire career and could take an even bigger step forward next season. After passing for 36 touchdowns to only six interceptions in 2024, Klubnik has shown the ability to keep the ball out of harm’s way while also being the centerpiece of Clemson’s offense.
The former five-star recruit also has a lot of rushing upside heading into next season after logging 463 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in 2024. Sooner or later, the NFL will notice Cade Klubnik, it’s only a matter of time.
Dylan Edwards
Kansas State (RB)
After beginning his college career at Colorado, Dylan Edwards transferred to Kansas State to play for the Wildcats during his sophomore season. While playing behind star back DJ Giddens, he totaled 546 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns while averaging an impressive 7.4 yards per carry.
After Giddens chose to opt out of the 2024 Rate Bowl to prepare for the 2025 NFL Draft, Edwards put up 223 total scrimmage yards, including 196 rushing yards as well as three total touchdowns. If quarterback Avery Johnson and Dylan Edwards are at the center of Kansas State’s offensive game plan next season, the Wildcats could have one of the most prolific rushing attacks in the entire country.
Edwards has shown the ability to be a big-time playmaker when necessary and has flashed elite production several times throughout his career. The young running back will look to cement himself as the team’s starting running back in 2025 and to become the next great Kansas State running back.
As a prospect, Edwards is a patient and explosive runner, capable of waiting for his blocks to develop and ripping off big runs. He is dangerous in the open field and a quality athlete who should be given a chance to shine at the NFL level.
I believe that Edwards will be one of college football’s most productive running backs in 2025, leading Kansas State to an incredible season.
Brandon Inniss
Ohio State (WR)
Ohio State has an elite track record when it comes to their talent at the receiver position ending up in the NFL. After the departure of wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State will be looking for their less experienced receivers to step up. Wideouts Carnell Tate and Brandon Inniss are next in line to earn starting roles next to Jeremiah Smith, who was one of the best receivers in the entire country as a freshman.
While Tate is understandably receiving some hype from the dynasty community, I think that Brandon Inniss will take on a larger role in Ohio State’s offense as well. He will be in line for more reps and could end up earning the starting role on one of the best teams in the entire country. While he was only a minimal contributor in 2024, logging only 176 receiving yards on the season, I’m willing to trust the upside with the former four-star wideout prospect.
Brett Norfleet
Missouri (TE)
Missouri’s Brett Norfleet represents a lot of what the tight end position is becoming in the NFL. Over the last few seasons, the best tight ends in the league have been those who specifically excel as receivers. Having a tight end who can run crisp routes and make toe-tap catches is becoming increasingly important for NFL offenses.
As this becomes the case, athleticism and receiving ability are some of the most important traits at the position. Norfleet is a great athlete who can create production after the catch. With a revamped Missouri offense in 2025, Norfleet could see a dramatic jump in production as he becomes more of a factor in the team’s offense.
Norfleet is an athletic tight end who could be the late-round target NFL teams will look for to add to their tight end rooms. He presents a lot of fantasy football upside as a receiver and should be viewed as a major sleeper moving forward in dynasty fantasy football.
