Top 8 Stacks for 2025 Fantasy Football (Based on ADP)

Having a strong quarterback/wide receiver duo on your fantasy football team can be an easy way to absolutely dominate matchups. If the two players connect for a game-breaking stat line, your fantasy team benefits two times over.

Targeting elite offenses for these stacks is usually the best strategy, so there’s nothing wrong with going out of your way to add multiple pieces from an unstoppable offense, even if you need to draft them above their ADP.

To rank the best fantasy football stacks, it’s important to take into account the value of both players. Even if a wide receiver is capable of posting elite production, the overall stack with a middle-tier quarterback may be less valuable than a stack with two very productive players.

Let’s get into a ranking of the best stacks for 2025 fantasy football while considering the value of the quarterback and receiver in tandem.

1. Joe Burrow & Ja’Marr Chase (CIN)

This ranking should be no surprise. Cincinnati has one of the best offenses in football, led by an elite passing game. Quarterback Joe Burrow won the 2024 Comeback Player Of The Year Award after passing for 43 touchdowns to only nine interceptions coming off of a 2023 season shortened due to a wrist injury.

The Bengals have made several moves this offseason to ensure that Burrow has plenty of weapons to throw the ball to. Wide receiver Tee Higgins was extended on a four-year, $115 million contract. Tight end Mike Gesicki re-signed with the team on a three-year, $25.5 million deal. And while Cincinnati's offensive line isn’t elite by any means, it’s certainly better than it was at the beginning of Burrow’s tenure.

As for Ja’Marr Chase, the young wideout is coming off of an impressive triple crown season, leading the NFL in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708), and receiving touchdowns (17). He finished as the overall fantasy WR1 and signed a massive four-year, $161 million extension with the Bengals to become the highest-paid non-quarterback in the entire NFL.

It’s safe to assume that, barring any injury, Burrow and Chase will continue to be the best quarterback/wide receiver duo in the NFL. This will lead to fantasy success, so drafting them as a pair is worth almost any price in fantasy drafts.

2. Jalen Hurts & A.J. Brown (PHI)

Coming off of a Super Bowl Championship, the Philadelphia Eagles are flying high. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had an extremely productive fantasy season in 2024, and while his passing stats weren’t anything to write home about, his 52 rushing touchdowns over the past four seasons make him an elite fantasy option every single year. Obviously, a lot of these are the result of the Tush Push, so if the play is banned, Hurts could slightly drop in my rankings. However, as things stand, Jalen Hurts is one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy football because of his usage on the ground and solid passing numbers.

Wideout A.J. Brown makes this stack a very strong one. The veteran receiver managed to log 1,079 yards despite an injury-plagued campaign limiting him to only 13 games. He’s been one of the best wide receivers in the league over the past six years, so it will be no surprise when he produces yet another strong fantasy season in 2025.

He’s only going to be 28 years old at the start of next season, so there’s no concern with age. Overall, Brown is still one of the most talented receivers in the NFL and should be drafted in the second round of fantasy drafts in most 2025 redraft leagues.

3. Jayden Daniels & Terry McLaurin (WAS)

This ranking may be slightly higher than the consensus, but I believe that this connection is one of the best in the NFL. Quarterback Jayden Daniels was the best rookie in the league last season, posting 3,568 passing yards, 891 rushing yards, and 31 total touchdowns to nine interceptions. He was consistently clutch late in close games and took home the 2024 Offensive Rookie Of The Year Award.

Daniels’ rushing upside makes him a fantastic fantasy option in 2025, where he will hopefully improve on one of the best rookie seasons we have ever seen. The young quarterback also has a remarkably accurate deep ball, so don’t underestimate his passing ability.

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin enjoyed the best season of his career after establishing a strong on-field chemistry with Daniels. The two seemed to connect for a deep ball at least once a game, and McLaurin put up a career-high 13 receiving touchdowns.

Heading into 2025, I expect McLaurin to be the top target in this offense once again, even with the addition of wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. via trade. Washington has their offensive duo of the future, and I believe that this pair is just getting started.

4. Jared Goff & Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET)

We are approaching the territory in which it’s acceptable for one player in a stack to be slightly better than the other in terms of fantasy outlook. This is the case with Detroit’s Jared Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

Goff has risen to true fantasy stardom in Detroit over the past few seasons behind elite passing volume and a strong supporting cast around him. This is not to say that Goff isn’t a great quarterback; he’s just been made even better by a strong offensive environment. In 2024, the veteran passer threw for a career-high 37 passing touchdowns while also recording 4,629 passing yards.

St. Brown is an even better fantasy asset, proving himself to be one of the safest receiver options in fantasy football over the last four seasons. In 2024, the USC product registered 1,263 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns, cementing himself as one of the league’s best weapons in the red zone

Until further notice, Amon-Ra St. Brown should be considered a top-five fantasy receiver in redraft leagues. His volume and consistent production make him one of the easiest draft-day decisions out there.

5. Lamar Jackson & Zay Flowers (BAL)

Lamar Jackson is the best quarterback in the NFL and in fantasy football. I’m not going to be shy about it. 4,172 passing yards and 41 passing touchdowns to only four interceptions is one thing, but to rush for 915 yards on top of that is another. We are witnessing one of the greatest statistical peaks in league history from Jackson, and he remains the best fantasy option at the quarterback position in 2025.

As an elite passer and rusher, Lamar Jackson has an easy path to finish as the overall QB1 once again next season. His top target is Zay Flowers, who recorded 1,059 receiving yards in his sophomore season. He is a very solid receiver option and will likely be Lamar Jackson’s top target once again in 2025.

Jackson is the fantasy powerhouse of this duo, but Flowers is a very good asset as well. Don’t sleep on drafting both next season.

6. Dak Prescott & CeeDee Lamb (DAL)

Dallas had a very disappointing 2024 NFL season, finishing with a record of 7-10, which was good enough for third place in the NFC East division. The offense struggled mightily after quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending hamstring injury. Dallas cycled through a few backup quarterbacks, which hurt the team’s top fantasy performers.

This included star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who still somehow put up 1,194 receiving yards in what ended up being a frustrating season for the team. I believe that Dallas has a good chance to bounce back in 2025 with Prescott back in the lineup. Lamb still has an elite ceiling and an impressive history of production, so I’m not worried at all about his fantasy outlook next season.

If Dak Prescott can return to his 2023 form, which is a tall order, this stack could vault its way up the list early in the season. However, if he struggles upon returning, Dallas’ offense could see its ceiling lowered significantly.

Prescott has shown the ability to be an elite passer in the past, so I’m not giving up on this stack yet. Lamb and Prescott are both safe to draft at the ADPs and could end up being an elite duo once again.

7. Baker Mayfield & Chris Godwin (TB)

Quarterback Baker Mayfield had the best year of his career in 2024, passing for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns. He has shown himself to be one of the league’s best quarterbacks and is capable of putting together an elite season in fantasy football, as he has displayed this past season.

Although he is a pocket-passer, Mayfield had similar passing volume to Jared Goff, clearing the way for an elite fantasy finish. I am confident that Mayfield can finish as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in 2025 with a great supporting cast around him once again.

On the receiving end, wide receiver Chris Gowin was in the midst of a stellar season before a season-ending ankle injury derailed his 2024 campaign after only seven games. However, in those seven games, the veteran receiver put up 576 receiving yards and five touchdowns, which made for a ridiculously productive beginning to the season.

Godwin was re-signed by the team on a three-year, $66 million contract this offseason. If he can hit the ground running in 2025, expect him to receive a ton of volume, leading to an elite fantasy finish.

8. Justin Herbert & Ladd McConkey (LAC)

Finally, we have the Chargers' duo. Herbert had a solid 2024 campaign in L.A.’s run-heavy offense. Despite a middling 504 pass attempts, the Chargers quarterback still logged 23 passing touchdowns and only three interceptions in the regular season. I expect him to produce a similar stat line in 2025, making him a very solid fantasy option with a higher ceiling if L.A. decides to pass the ball a little more.

Ladd McConkey had one of the best rookie seasons in the NFL last year, compiling 1,187 receiving yards in his first NFL season. He was the offense’s best receiver from the start, so it’s no surprise that he earned the role that he did. I think his connection with Herbert will keep his fantasy ceiling as high as it was in 2024.

Both should be drafted at ADP and will make a great pair once again in 2025.
