Week two of the NFL season is about to kick off and I’m stoked. In order to help you prepare for your week, I’ve constructed my top 24 running back rankings & tier list based on statistical analysis, matchup data, sportsbook data, and film. These rankings are also tailored toward PPR leagues but the tiers should be similar for all formats.

If you want to check out my full free list of top 48 WRs/RBs you can click the first link below. If you have any sit/start questions or want team advice click that same link and shoot me a message on Discord. Anyone in that channel will be given access to my top 48 WR/RB rankings and top 24 QB/TE rankings each week. That said, let’s dive into the rankings and win our week!

Must Start: Wide Receiver

Malik Nabers @ WAS

For this week I’ve decided to switch up the criteria for the FTR start of the week to hopefully help some more of you guys out. For now, the player can’t be ranked in the top 24 according to ESPN PPR projections. This week, the player that I’m much higher on than most is Malik Nabers who is ranked as the WR28 on ESPN.

With Nabers I absolutely love the talent and even though the Giants are horrible I believe he can transcend his situation. In his first game ever, he had 11.6 points off five catches (seven targets) for 66 yards. I’m still hopeful Daniel Jones can be just a little better and if that happens, Nabers can crush. Even so Nabers gets a crazy amount of volume, running 70 routes which was every single snap Jones played.

For as bad as the Giants offense was in week one, it should get better as they player a pretty awful team in the Commanders. This should be a fairly even matchup and BetMGM even has the over/under at 44 points which is solid. Nabers also has an “average” WR/CB matchup per PFF grading out at 53.6. Most weeks Nabers is going to be fighting an uphill battle so take advantage of this situation while you can.
