Must Start: Wide Receiver Malik Nabers @ WAS For this week I’ve decided to switch up the criteria for the FTR start of the week to hopefully help some more of you guys out. For now, the player can’t be ranked in the top 24 according to ESPN PPR projections. This week, the player that I’m much higher on than most is Malik Nabers who is ranked as the WR28 on ESPN. With Nabers I absolutely love the talent and even though the Giants are horrible I believe he can transcend his situation. In his first game ever, he had 11.6 points off five catches (seven targets) for 66 yards. I’m still hopeful Daniel Jones can be just a little better and if that happens, Nabers can crush. Even so Nabers gets a crazy amount of volume, running 70 routes which was every single snap Jones played. For as bad as the Giants offense was in week one, it should get better as they player a pretty awful team in the Commanders. This should be a fairly even matchup and BetMGM even has the over/under at 44 points which is solid. Nabers also has an “average” WR/CB matchup per PFF grading out at 53.6. Most weeks Nabers is going to be fighting an uphill battle so take advantage of this situation while you can.
